Look of innocence

On this deserted island, south of the Cambodian coast, I met this little Nitri and her family. Living only from the resources coming from the island, sheltered from modern capitalist societies.

Not having known money, having had as toys only shells, coconuts and an artisanal fishing rod made by her father.Innocently, this little girl changed forever my perception of the needs of human being.

The artifices of our modern society are only illusions that make us forget the basic needs of man. Far from the news media, the technologies supposed to make our lives easier, the truth is that man would be happier without it.
