Colors gradient over Jacques-Cartier River

Jacques Cartier river, Tewkesbury, Québec, Canada 🇨🇦

The Golden hour... this time of day so sought after by photographers and lovers of splendid views, is also called twilight or dusk. It takes place just before sunset. As its name suggests, it will offer in the sky this gradient of varied colors from golden yellow to pink through all shades of orange. These moments take place in the evening but also in the morning, during the sunrise, at the moment called the blue hour or the dawn. However, the shades offered are slightly different. You will notice that a sunrise does not have exactly the same atmosphere as a sunset, especially because of the effect of the humidity in the air. For flower lovers, this is the time when their fragrance is at its peak.

Photographers love these moments when the light is diffused and impregnated with a magical atmosphere conducive to shots all more beautiful than the others. These are two excellent opportunities, depending on whether you are an early riser or a late sleeper!
